Upon request, the Congress Secretariat
will be happy to issue an official letter
of invitation to attend the Congress.
Letters of invitation are intended to
help participants in raising travel
funds, obtaining visas or permission
from their institutions to attend the
Congress and this does not include or
imply payment by ISAAR 2009 Organizing
Committee of any expenses, such as registration
fee, travel or hotel accommodation. |

Passport
& Visa
All foreign visitors entering Thailand
must have a passport which is valid
for at least 6 months. The Thai government
allows 45 different nationalities to
enter the country for 30 days without
visa. Participants from countries whose
citizens required to have visa should
apply to the Thai consular office or
diplomatic mission in their countries
at least 6 weeks before departure. Participants
are advise to contact their local travel
agents or air carriers for details. |

| Airport Transfer |
Suvarnabhumi Airport is approximately
a 30-minutes drive via a modern motorway
to the city center. Transfer to city
from airport can be arranged with World
travel service, official travel partner
of ISAAR 2009 . Metered taxis are also
available outside the terminal at ground
floor level. Alternatively, a public
Airport Shuttle Bus operated between
the airport and city is also available
Airport Link stretches 28.6km from the
inner city to
Suvarnabhumi
international airport
east of
Bangkok.
It was designed to get
between the city and the airport in
15 minutes and to connect with electric
railways in the capital. The project
is underconstruction and the completion
of the whole system is November, 2008
expectedly. |

Only Thai Baht is acceptable at stores
and restaurants. Foreign currency exchange
services are available at major banks
and hotels. Banking hours are from 8.30-15.30
hours from Monday to Friday. |

Voltage in Thailand is 220V AC using
two-pin sockets.

Temperatures
Being the South East Asia region, Thailand
has a subtropical climate. During March
the temperature averages 32-35¡ÆC in
the daytime and 25-30¡ÆC at night. |

Exhibition
During the Congress, the Organizing
Committee wishes to present an attractive
exhibition of pharmaceutical products
and medical equipment to the Congress
